Simon Roschmann is a PhD candidate at the Helmholtz Institute of Explainable Machine Learning under the supervision of Prof. Zeynep Akata. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Informatics from the Technical University of Munich. During his studies, Simon gained research and industry experience at Fraunhofer AISEC and the BMW Group. His research interests lie in explainable machine learning and multimodal learning for vision, language, and time series tasks.
